Malaysia offers three main MM2H long-term residency programs to welcome foreign nationals who meet specific criteria and seek a comfortable, extended stay in Malaysia. Each of these programs invites applicants from all countries, with no restrictions on race, religion, or gender. All main applicants must meet personal and financial requirements as defined by the Malaysian Government. Successful applicants can also bring their families, including spouses, parents, in-laws, and unmarried children under the age of 35, to enjoy Malaysia’s vibrant lifestyle as dependents.
There are currently three tiers of the national MM2H visa Silver, Gold, and Platinum each offering different benefits and requirements. There is also a special, lower-cost version of the visa under the Special Financial Zone (SFZ) in Johor nest to Singapore. The eastern states of Sabah and Sarawak each have their own version of the visa. The visa is a residential visa, not intended for people wishing to work here, but the Platinum level is different, allowing wealthy applicants and their families to settle and work here. You can explore all the options on our website’s Visa page.
